new zealand - pictures from paradise i was travelling in several countries in my life, but no country was more fascinating than new zealand with its amazing views and its unspoiled nature. on these pages i will show you some of the pictures which i have made during my visits to the three main islands of new zealand in the year 1998. next page: auckland
new zealand is also the home of extreme sports like bungy jumping. this picture shows me just a few seconds before i'm making the pipeline bungy jump, with 102 meters one of the highest permanent bungy jumps in the world (highest is actually located in south africa). it's located in skippers canyon in the queenstown area (south island). will *you* jump for me? :)
jetboat rides are a very speedy and funny thing that are quite popular, too. this one is starting in queenstown and then you will cross the lake wakatipu to the shotover river where you will have a thrilling and sometimes wet experience ;)
